A dead hot tub is one of the toughest things to get rid of — it is heavy, full of foam insulation, often wired to a 240-volt circuit, and far too big to move in one piece. We handle the whole removal: we drain any remaining water, safely disconnect the electrical, cut the shell and cabinet into manageable sections, and carry it all out of the yard. Backyard access, decks built around the tub, and tight side gates are routine for us. You are left with a clear pad and no sign the old spa was ever there.

Hot Tub Removal & Disposal Pricing
Price: $55 minimum, $35 per cubic yard. See the full pricing guide.
Hot tub removal is priced as a heavy, labour-intensive job rather than by simple volume — it reflects the cutting, the crew size and the carry-out. Difficult access (over a deck, up a slope, through the house) can add to it, and we confirm the full price before we start.
WSIB-insured and fully licensed; loading, hauling and disposal are included, and more than 60% of every load is donated or recycled. Call (905) 999-4426.

Frequently Asked Questions — Hot Tub Removal & Disposal
How much does hot tub removal and disposal cost in Durham Region?
Hot Tub Removal & Disposal starts at our $55 minimum and is priced at $35 per cubic yard, so you only pay for the space your load takes in the truck. Loading, hauling and disposal are included; there are no fuel or dump surcharges.
Do I need to drain the hot tub first?
If you can drain it beforehand it speeds things up, but if not we will drain the remaining water on site as part of the job.
Can you remove a hot tub through a narrow gate?
Yes — we cut the shell and cabinet into sections sized to fit your access, whether that is a standard gate, a path around the house, or even over a deck.
Who disconnects the electrical?
We safely disconnect or isolate the tub's wiring as part of removal. We recommend shutting the breaker off at the panel in advance; for permanent rewiring you would use a licensed electrician.
Do you take the deck around the tub too?
We can remove the surrounding deck or skirting at the same time — many people pair hot tub removal with deck demolition to fully reclaim the space.
