Yard Waste Removal Services

A backyard cleanup is one of the most satisfying jobs we do — a cluttered yard becomes usable space again in a single afternoon. We clear out everything that has piled up over the years: broken patio furniture, rotting wood, collapsed sheds, old play structures, dead planters, bags of leaves, leftover landscaping materials, and the random junk that always seems to migrate to the back of the property. Our crew brings its own tools, breaks down bulky items on site, and rakes the area before we leave. You point, we load — no need to drag anything to the curb yourself.

What We Take

  • Broken or weathered patio furniture
  • Collapsed or unwanted garden sheds
  • Old play structures, swing sets and trampolines
  • Rotting fence boards and lattice
  • Dead planters, raised beds and landscaping timber
  • Bagged leaves, soil and yard waste
  • Leftover paving stones, bricks and gravel
  • Rusted BBQs, fire pits and garden tools
  • Tarps, pool toys and seasonal clutter
  • General junk that has accumulated outdoors

How Backyard Cleanup Works

  1. Walk the yard with you and confirm exactly what stays and what goes
  2. Break down large or awkward items (old swing sets, pergolas, raised beds) on site
  3. Hand-load everything into the truck so nothing gets dragged across your lawn
  4. Separate metal, wood and green waste for recycling and composting
  5. Sweep and rake the cleared area so you are left with clean, open space

Backyard Cleanup Pricing

Price: $55 minimum, $35 per cubic yard. See the full pricing guide.

Backyard cleanups are priced by the volume we haul ($35 per cubic yard, $55 minimum), so a quick single-corner tidy costs far less than a full end-of-season clear-out. Heavy materials like soil, brick or pavers may add a small weight surcharge — we always confirm that before loading.

WSIB-insured and fully licensed; loading, hauling and disposal are included, and more than 60% of every load is donated or recycled. Call (905) 999-4426.

Frequently Asked Questions — Backyard Cleanup

How much does backyard cleanup cost in Durham Region?

Backyard Cleanup starts at our $55 minimum and is priced at $35 per cubic yard, so you only pay for the space your load takes in the truck. Loading, hauling and disposal are included; there are no fuel or dump surcharges.

Do I need to pile everything up before you arrive?

No. The whole point of full-service backyard cleanup is that we do the lifting. You can leave items where they sit — we walk the yard with you, confirm what is going, and carry it all out ourselves.

Can you remove an old shed during a backyard cleanup?

Yes. We dismantle small wood and metal sheds as part of a cleanup and haul the pieces away. Larger sheds with concrete pads fall under our shed demolition service, which we can fold into the same visit.

Do you take soil, sod and heavy yard materials?

We do. Soil, sod, brick and gravel are heavy, so they are priced with a small weight allowance on top of the volume rate. We will give you that number up front before anything goes in the truck.

Will you damage my lawn carrying things out?

We hand-carry loads and lay down protection on soft ground when needed. Because we do not drive across your yard, there is no rutting or tire damage to the grass.
