Furniture Removal in Durham Region

An old couch, a sagging mattress, the dining set nobody wants when the house is sold — furniture is the single most common thing we haul in Durham Region. We carry it out from wherever it sits (a finished basement, a third-floor condo, a garage packed to the door), load it, and take it to a donation partner if it is still usable or a licensed recycler if it is not. You don't lift a thing.

Municipal large-item pickup takes a couple of pieces on a set day, as long as you can get them to the curb yourself. We take everything at once, from inside, on your schedule — most jobs within 24 hours, often the same day.

Frequently Asked Questions — Furniture Removal

How much does furniture removal cost?

We quote furniture from a photo rather than a price list, because a loveseat on a driveway and a sleeper sofa coming down a narrow basement stair are different jobs. Text a picture to (905) 999-4426 or request a free quote and you'll have a firm number within minutes — no fuel or disposal surcharges added at the door.

Can you take a mattress or box spring?

Yes. Mattresses and box springs are the pieces we're asked about most. We bag them, carry them out and take them to a recycler where the springs and foam are separated; nothing is left at your curb.

Will my furniture be donated?

If it's clean, dry and intact, we take it to a local donation partner rather than the disposal site — that's part of how more than 60% of what we collect stays out of landfill. Stained, broken or bed-bug-affected pieces go to a licensed recycler or disposal.

Do I have to get the furniture to the curb?

No. We carry it from wherever it is — basement, upstairs bedroom, condo unit, garage — and we protect door frames and floors on the way out. If you'd rather save money and stage it at the curb or in the driveway yourself, tell us and we'll quote the curbside rate.

How soon can you pick up furniture?

Most furniture pickups are done within 24 hours of your call, and same-day pickup is available across Durham Region when a slot is open — call before noon for the best chance.
