Old carpet is bulky, heavy once it is rolled, and awkward to fit in any car — which is why so many people leave it sitting for months. We take the whole job off your hands: we pull up the carpet and underpad, remove the tack strips if you ask, roll and bind it for safe carrying, and haul it all away. Whether it is one bedroom, a whole basement, or a full house being prepped for new flooring, we handle the lifting and stairs so you do not strain your back wrestling a soaked, dusty roll down to the curb.
What We Take
- Wall-to-wall carpet from any room
- Carpet underpad and foam
- Tack strips and transition strips
- Area rugs and runners
- Stair carpet and runners
- Basement broadloom (including water-damaged)
- Commercial carpet tiles
- Staples and carpet tape debris
How Carpet Disposal Works
- Confirm the rooms and whether underpad and tack strips are included
- Cut carpet into manageable sections and roll for safe carrying
- Pull underpad and staples; remove tack strips on request
- Carry rolls out — including down stairs and through tight hallways
- Vacuum or sweep the subfloor so it is ready for new flooring
Carpet Disposal Pricing
Price: $55 minimum, $35 per cubic yard. See the full pricing guide.
Carpet is priced by volume once it is rolled, so a single room is typically near the minimum and a whole-house pull is a fraction of a truckload. Water-damaged carpet weighs much more — we account for that and confirm the price before loading.
WSIB-insured and fully licensed; loading, hauling and disposal are included, and more than 60% of every load is donated or recycled. Call (905) 999-4426.

Frequently Asked Questions — Carpet Disposal
How much does carpet disposal cost in Durham Region?
Carpet Disposal starts at our $55 minimum and is priced at $35 per cubic yard, so you only pay for the space your load takes in the truck. Loading, hauling and disposal are included; there are no fuel or dump surcharges.
Do you remove the carpet, or just haul it if I pull it?
Either way works. We can do the full pull-and-haul including underpad and tack strips, or simply take away carpet you have already rolled up. Full pulls are priced a little higher because of the labour.
Can you take water-damaged or mouldy carpet?
Yes — flooded-basement carpet is one of our most common carpet jobs. It is heavier when wet, so we confirm the price on site, and we bag mouldy sections to keep your home clean on the way out.
Will you remove the tack strips and staples too?
On request, yes. We pull tack strips and the bulk of the staples so your subfloor is ready for the next installer. Just let us know when you book.
Do I need to be home for carpet removal?
It helps to confirm which rooms at the start, but once we are clear on the scope you do not need to lift or supervise anything — we handle the entire removal.
