Furniture Removal Cost

Furniture removal is priced the same transparent way as everything we haul: by the space it takes in the truck. A single item — one mattress, one couch, one dresser — is usually right at our $55 minimum. A living-room set is a partial load at $35 per cubic yard, and clearing the furniture from an entire home tops out at our published full-truck range of $399–499. Stairs, tight hallways and heavy hide-a-beds are part of the service, not surcharges, and anything still in good shape is donated rather than landfilled.

What Drives the Price

Bulk, not weight

A sectional costs more than an armchair because it fills more of the truck — not because it is heavier. Volume pricing means disassembling large pieces (we do this on site) genuinely lowers the price.

Single item vs. full clear-out

One piece is typically the $55 minimum; each additional piece adds volume at $35 per cubic yard. Whole-home furniture clear-outs land inside our published half-truck to full-truck ranges.

Donation offsets waste, not price

Clean, usable furniture is set aside for local charities. That's about doing disposal right — the volume-based price is the same either way, with no 'donation handling' fees.

Furniture Removal Cost — FAQs

How much does it cost to remove a couch?

A single couch pickup is usually our $55 minimum, including the carry-out — stairs and tight corners included. Text a photo to (905) 999-4426 for a firm quote on your specific piece.

What does whole-home furniture removal cost?

Furniture from an entire home is typically a half to full truck load — $199–299 for a half truck and $399–499 for a completely full truck, based on our published volume pricing.

Do heavy or awkward pieces cost extra?

No. Hide-a-beds, sectionals and solid-wood dressers are priced by the space they fill, not their weight. The lifting, stairs and doorway maneuvering are part of the service.
